I'm such a follower....

I somehow have become a member myspace -- and I didn't even mean for it to happen. I think it's somehow Sarah & Johanna's fault, they must have drugged me. I admit to signing up so I could view some friends pictures... but I did a minimal sign-up and did not think my profile (that had no info except my name) would be out there --- then I get an email a week later from a guy from high school "adding" me -- crazy sh*t.

Anyway, so now I want you to be my friend & post comments. On the same techy-geek note, I'm going to start a new blog that I think I might pay more attention to than this one, since this blog is a rambling, random web space of nothingness... Sorry Johanna -- maybe when you're in NY I will do more posts for you.

The Dude

The Dude here sent me an email with some digital pics from the weekend I visited him & Katherine in NYC to check out their new digs. Among the apartment shots, pictures of David Blaine in his glass aquarium in Lincoln Center, and the shots of the happy couple - there was the wonderful picture above.
A highlight of the visit, besides of course getting to see Andrew, was a celebrity spotting! Walking through Central Park I spotted Jonathan Rhys Meyers sitting on a park bench speaking to a manager-type... Andrew had no idea who he was, and apparently no one else knew who he was - he was blending well, but I noticed and shot the image below, from very far away, because I'm a wuss:
Obviously, it's a horrible picture - very grainy, but you get the point.
Johanna, are you proud of my spotting abilities??? I learned from the best...

Memorial Day Weekend is upon us...

It's going to be a fun-filled weekend with lots of eating & drinking in sight. Family parties, dinners & grilling on the patio with the beach in sight sounds like my idea of an excellent weekend.
Looks like we're going to be lucky enought to have very warm weather & sun - thank god - I'll be sure to work hard at nothing else but a good tan.
